Volunteering

L'Arche Fredericton continues to look for volunteers for our committee work and community gatherings. We welcome contributions from people with and without intellectual disabilities. Check out the list below to see which committee best matches your talents and interests.

Learning on Location (LOL) Committee

We oversee the running of the Learning on Location programs. We also plan the community social events such as shared suppers, community potlucks, pool parties, and other gatherings.

Nominations committee

We are responsible for identifying and recommending potential board members, volunteers, and staff who align with L'Arche's values and vision. Carefully curating a team of committed individuals, play a pivotal role in ensuring L’Arche’s continued growth.

Fundraising Committee

We take a leadership role in raising money to support the various L'Arche programs and projects. This currently includes activities such as preparing grant applications and running community events like bottle drives and fundraising breakfasts.

Partnership

We actively seek and cultivate meaningful partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and individuals. Through our collaborative efforts, we secure resources, raise funds, and promote awareness about L'Arche Fredericton's work, ultimately ensuring the organization's sustainability.
